DJ Messiah

Messiah - A savior or liberator of a group of people. And what better way to liberate people than through music? The journey began young. In need of an alias for the Mixtapes he’d sell during his middle school lunch period. Dj Messiah was suggested, and it stuck. While in high school, he’d discover his projects had reached the Mixtape review sections of national publications including; The XXL, The Source, and Hip Hop weekly. He’d received co-signs from a list of major artists, an internship at 50 Cent’s office, and nominations at multiple DJ award ceremonies - all while attending High School. At such a young age, it was clear there was a great future ahead. Currently you can find him providing the soundtrack at some of New York City’s hottest venues, and a list of residencies around the country. With an impressive list of celebrity guests including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled, Stevie Wonder, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, and a list of others. His appreciation for a variety of musical genres explain his creative approach toward’s Open Format Dj’ing. Messiah says “I love to keep my DJ sets exciting, and more importantly keep everyone having fun!”
